- [ ] Engage thoughtfully with others on X and LI. Quantity is important, but quality + quantity is better.
- [ ] Once a week, send a DM to one person to simply ask how they are doing.
- [ ] Create an email list to draw people to you (networking doesn’t have to be purely outbound).
- [ ] Help someone with a challenge they are facing. Doesn’t have to be a big task. Be helpful.
- [ ] Meet people outside of your core area of expertise (i.e. if you are a marketing expert, don’t just meet with marketing people…consider meeting some sales experts).
- [ ] Interview them. This is a great way to build a relationship - your sole focus is on their accomplishments, mission and story.
- [ ] Offer to collaborate on a project or co-create content with someone in your network to strengthen relationships.
- [ ] Connect people within your network to one another.
